Sewer Department:
The Village provides waste water disposal services at the Wast Water Treatment Plant. The plant has been updated
since it was constructed and the activated sludge facility has a capacity of 400,000 gallons per day. A recent
upgrade in the amount of $142,200, added a sludge press. The Ohio Public Works Commission granted the Village
an interest free laon for ten years to pay $84,318 and the village contribution was $57,882. Sewer is billed
at a flat rate quarterly.
WATER RATES (Ord. #626)
Definitions- Water Fund - Used for the daily operation and maintenance expenses.
- Water Capital Improvement Reserve Fund - Used to pay current debt services and start to save and play for needed improvements for the future.
- Water Repair/Replacement Fund - Used for repair and replacement of equipment and infrastructure.
- Water Emergency Reserve Fund - Used to operate the water system for 90 days in case of a true emergency, not poor planning. Funded by the Water Fund with payments to maintain 90 days of expenses.

- Applicants who are contiguous to the village,
- Must be annexed to the village before they can receive service,
- Obtain tap permit from Village Clerk and pay tap fee and deposit as follows:
